Operating Grants

The City of San Jose awards Operating Grants to a limited number of San Jose arts organization with ongoing, regular and consistent arts activities. The grants support general operating and program needs. There are few restrictions on the use of the grants. These grants help to sustain the organizations financially and ensure their continuing ability to provide the community with a steady stream of arts opportunities throughout the year.

How to Apply

WebGrants is the City’s online portal for grant opportunities offered throughout the City. All applicants will access, complete and submit electronic applications using the WebGrants portal: http://grants.sanjoseca.gov/index.do.

Note: Any required supporting materials must still be submitted in the traditional way (i.e., multiple copies mailed or delivered by the deadline date).

Grant Applications will be posted on WebGrants IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING the first application workshop for each grant program.
