Operating Grants

The City of San Jose awards Operating Grants to a limited number of San Jose arts organization with ongoing, regular and consistent arts activities. The grants support general operating and program needs. There are few restrictions on the use of the grants. These grants help to sustain the organizations financially and ensure their continuing ability to provide the community with a steady stream of arts opportunities throughout the year.

Application Deadline for 2010-11 Operating Grants
Monday, Jan. 25, 2010

Note: The FY2010-11 application documents consist of the Application e-Form and the Budget Detail e-Form. Please be sure to download both forms as well as the Information and Guidelines and the Application Instructions. Applicants with missions that are not focused primarily on the arts, should also download the Supplemental e-Form Required for non-Arts Exclusive Organizations.

NOTE: You will need either the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel to read downloadable documents. All e-Forms except the Budget Detail e-Form require Word 97 or a later version of Microsoft Word. The Budget Detail e-Form requires Excel. Forms are both Macintosh and Windows compatible. Please be sure to SAVE forms on your computer before using.
