take pART Grants (formerly Project and Program Grants)

take pART Grants (formerly Project & Program Grants) are awarded to arts and other public benefit organizations to help finance specific arts activities and programs. Arts organizations are usually smaller artist-run groups or community arts organizations where creative participation is the key. Other public benefit organizations that apply to this program have a history of engagement in the arts.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to attend pre-application workshops.

How to Apply

WebGrants is the City’s one-stop online portal for grant opportunities offered throughout the City. All applicants will access, complete and submit electronic applications using the WebGrants portal: http://grants.sanjoseca.gov/index.do.

NOTE: Required supporting materials must still be submitted in the traditional way (i.e., multiple copies mailed or delivered by the deadline date).
