Bay Area Bike Share
Bike Share Program

Bay Area Bike ShareBike sharing has launched in San José!  150 bikes are now available at 16 stations in the Downtown.

San José is among five Bay Area cities taking part in a 700 bike, 70 station regional bike share pilot project. This system allows you to conveniently check out a bike for short trips in downtown San José. Day passes are $9 and Annual passes are $88. Each pass provides an unlimited number of 30 minute-or-less trips at no additional cost.

Ride to lunch, take a coffee break, run an errand, or connect to public transit. Bikes will be available at 16 stations in the downtown area. Bikes may be checked out from and returned to any station.

Give it a try and learn why bike share has become a huge success in cities like New York, Chicago, Washington DC, Paris, and London. For information on how to use it, pricing, and station locations, go to Bay Area Bike Share
