take pART Grants
Through the Office of Cultural Affairs, the City of San Jose offers several programs of financial support to ensure a continuing and rich variety of cultural opportunities for its residents as well as visitors to the city.

take pART Grants are awarded to arts and other public benefit organizations to help finance specific arts activities and programs. Arts organizations are usually smaller artist-run groups or community arts organizations where creative participation is the key. Other public benefit organizations that apply to this program have a history of engagement in the arts.

How to Apply

The take pART Grant application is an online application submitted through WebGrants, the City’s one-stop online portal for all grant opportunities offered throughout the City. All applicants will access, complete and submit electronic applications using the WebGrants portal. The application is now available on WebGrants.

Guidelines and Application Instructions for the next funding cycle of FY2016-17 are located in the Resources section.
